Last night I had a wonderful dinner at Henrietta's Table, one of my favorite spots in Harvard Square, located inside the Charles Hotel. I love Henrietta's not only because their food is always so delicious, but they also really emphasize sourcing their ingredients locally. Chef Peter Davis has been embracing the farm-to-table approach to dining since the 1990s — long before it became so popular. I love his passion for supporting local producers!
My dinner on Wednesday night featured cheese from local cheesemakers paired with wines from Victor Hugo Winery, a small family-owned and operated winery in California. Cheese from the dinner came from Ruggles Hill Creamery and Shy Brother's Farm, both part of the Massachusetts Cheese Guild. Check out all of our delicious dishes and pairings.
