Toro | Dinner | South End
March 18, 2016
I finally had the chance to check out Toro, a Barcelona-style Tapas restaurant in the South End headed by chef Jamie Bissonnette and chef-owner Ken Oringer. I had been hearing so many great things about Toro, so I was so happy to finally go in and try their delicious small plates.
Their menu is filled with creative dishes like ham-wrapped dates filled with almonds and blue cheese, uni sandwiches with miso butter, roasted bone marrow, braised octopus salad and so much more, including a number of really delicious vegetable dishes that I loved. I also really like how the servers recognize that the menu could be daunting for some non-foodie types, and they are more than willing to help out! Check out some of my pictures!
