I had a great time this week at one of my favorite spots, the Outlook Kitchen and Bar at the Envoy Hotel. I was there to enjoy some of the recently debuted Dry Line Cape Cod Gin, paired with some delicious eats from the Envoy.
Dry Line Cape Cod Gin is a new product from South Hollow Spirits, a craft distillery on Cape Cod owned by the Roberts family. I love both their passion for sourcing locally to craft their spirits and their emphasis on keeping their products true to Truro, the seaside Cape Cod town where they make Dry Line Gin and several other spirits.
Throughout the evening we enjoyed some cocktails made with Dry Line Gin, and all of them were delicious. First, we enjoyed the “Boston Tea Party,” which included peppermint lemon infused tea, lemon juice, muddled strawberries, and basil. It came paired with an arugula and pear Salad — a great way to start the evening.

With our main course, we enjoyed the “SeaPORT Martini,” a drink of Citrus-infused Dry Line Gin, peppercorns, and port. It came paired with either steak or pasta. Having already enjoyed the Envoy’s delicious Pineland Farms Flat Iron Steak, I opted for the Tagliatelle Pasta. It did not disappoint!

We wrapped up the evening with a delicious lemon tart for dessert, paired with the “Bee’s Knees” cocktail, a perfect summer drink made with Dry Line Gin, lemon juice, and honey syrup.

What a great evening! I always love stopping by the Envoy, and I was so delighted to try this incredible, new, locally made product.
If you’re in the Cape, you should check out South Hollow Spirits. They offer tours and tastings at their distillery and they have a food truck on site. Truro Vineyards, which is also owned by the Roberts family, is another great spot. Like the distillery, they offer incredible tours and tastings. Check out their website for more info.
