Last week I finally made it to BISq in Inman Square, and it’s one of my new favorite spots! BISq, headed by Chef Dan Bazzinotti, is a sister restaurant of Bergamot in Somerville. The menu at BISq is filled with delicious charcuterie and creative small plates like Lamb Carpaccio, Short Rib Crepinette, and Halibut a la Plancha. BISq also boasts an impressive wine list, and a small, intimate space that I loved and found to be a perfect match for Inman Square.
We started our dinner with an incredible Spanish cheese plate, charcuterie, and one of their ceviche dishes that was a special that evening.

We also enjoyed the calamari fettuccine dish and the lamb ribs.

For dessert, we couldn’t leave without trying the dessert charcuterie, which I had heard about extensively before my visit. I loved the idea of it and it was so delicious.
The piece in the middle is “chocolate salami” — chocolate with nuts inside. I also loved the “muddy buddies,” which are Chex cereal pieces coated in peanut butter and chocolate and topped with powdered sugar. That was the perfect end to a delicious meal, and I can't wait to go back. Check out BISq's full menu here!
PS - Happy anniversary to BISq. They are celebrating their one year anniversary this week! Cheers to an incredible future of great wine and delicious charcuterie in Inman Square.
