Sorellina is one of those restaurants that I have been hearing about for years — one that everybody has been telling me is so incredible and such a great experience, so I was thrilled to finally make it there for dinner this Sunday. I have to say it was one of my absolute favorite dining experiences — the beautiful interior, the excellent service, the diverse menu, and the exquisite modern Italian cuisine all made it so perfect.
We started our dinner with the Verdure and the Burrata. Both were delicious and a perfect, light start to our meal.
Verdure a dish of baby artichokes, peas, asparagus, green garbanzo beans, fava beans, and ricotta
Burrata with english peas and baby green peas, speck, and grissini
For our entrees, we enjoyed the Gnocchi and the Veal. All of Sorellina’s pastas are made in house, and they are incredible. The Gnocchi came with lobster and Vermont butter and it was so delicious. I thought it was just the right amount of pasta too — not a small portion and not too much.
Gnocchi with Maine lobster
Veal Saltimbocca with prosciutto, mushrooms, and truffle whipped potato
Dessert was equally as incredible as the rest of the meal. We got the Bombolini and the Cioccolato.
Bombolini sugar donuts with nutella
Cioccolato molten chocolate cake with vanilla bean gelato
Sorellina is located in Copley Square at 1 Huntington Avenue. Check out their full dinner menu here, and make reservations here.
