Besito Chestnut Hill
July 29, 2016
This week I had a fun time taking over Besito’s Instagram page sharing some pictures of my drinks and dishes from my most recent visit to Besito Chestnut Hill. For those of you who don’t know Besito, it’s a really great Mexican restaurant with locations in Chestnut Hill and Burlington. I’ve been a big fan ever since visiting a few years ago.

During my most recent visit, we really went all out! We started with guacamole, queso, and ceviche, paired with a Besito Patron Margarita.

For our entrees, we had Carne Asada Street Tacos, Enchiladas Mixtas, and the Camarones Jalisco. We paired these with two sides — the Platanos con Crema and the Elotes de la Calle.

Carne Asada Street Tacos
Grilled skirt steak guajillo marinated, scallions, salsa verde cruda

Enchiladas Mixtas
Skirt steak, grilled chicken, chorizo, salsa de guajillo con crema, sweet plantains, cilantro, queso fresco

Camarones Jalisco
Pan seared jumbo shrimp, mashed boniato, tequila chipotle glaze, spring pico

Platanos con Crema
Fried sweet plantains, crema, queso fresco
For dessert, we had the Pudin de Chocolate, Tres Leches Cake, flan, and Mexican Hot Chocolate. The perfect way to end the meal!

Hot Chocolate
Mexican hot chocolate, lbarra, whipped cream
We enjoyed this awesome meal on Besito Chestnut Hill’s recently debuted patio. It was a pretty cold day when we went (you know how unpredictable Boston summers can be), so we were super grateful that they brought us blankets!

Another thing I love about Besito is that when you leave, they give you these mini “worry dolls” that you’re supposed to put under your pillow to relieve your worries — what a beautiful gesture!
