I recently had a delicious brunch with some friends at Davio’s in the Back Bay. I loved their menu, which is filled with delicious Italian dishes like Warm Apple Zeppole and Spaghettini Carbonara, as well as some brunch classics like Belgian waffles, parfaits, and Bloody Marys.
We started with some Bloody Marys — at Davio’s weekend brunch, you can make your own!
Then, we tried their Crispy Fried Oysters BLT, a dish of crisp oysters with baby lettuce, tomato, bacon, and house tartar sauce.

On to some sweet things, we enjoyed their Warm Apple Zeppole and a Belgian Waffle, topped with Berry compote and warm Vermont syrup. Also, for some balance, a yogurt parfait.

Two dishes tied for my favorite — the Spaghettini Carbonara and the Steakhouse Burger.
We were so full, but when the waitress came over with the dessert cart, we couldn’t say no. We had to try the chocolate cake, which was definitely not a mistake.
