I had such a great time this weekend checking out Tapestry in the Fenway Area. It’s been on my list since it opened, as small plates style is my absolute favorite and I’d heard so many great things about it. It also just happened to land the cover of Boston Magazine’s new issue about the best restaurants in Boston!
At Tapestry, there are two parts to the restaurant — their Expo Kitchen and the Club Room. The Expo Kitchen (pictured below) is a much brighter space with an open kitchen area, serving a smaller menu as well as brunch. The Club Room is darker and cozier area, serving a more expansive dinner menu. Lucky for me, on Sundays they serve both menus in the Expo Kitchen. You can check out both menus on their website.
We started our dinner with some delicious cocktails — the Stir Crazy and the Sherry Lemonade.
Then, we ordered one of their pizzas — the mushroom and taleggio, and paired that with some of their delicious cauliflower.

Then, one of my favorites, the linguine with clams, which was absolutely fabulous and beautiful (the color of the pasta was almost bright green!).

Finally, the braised short rib.

Dessert was spectacular too — we tried their apple tart and their PB&J sundae. I loved the PB&J sundae. It even had little bits of Wonder Bread in it!
I can’t wait to go back! Check out their full menu here. Tapestry is located in the Fenway area of Boston at 69 Kilmarnock Street.
