I was so happy to have dinner at Bambara last weekend. I have been a fan since visiting over a year ago, but I was even more impressed by the new menu that they recently debuted. Chef David Barzirgan joined as Bambara’s executive chef in August, and he rolled out an incredibly delicious new menu in late October. I loved it!
We started our dinner with the delicious Choereg Bread, which comes with an incredible whipped honey butter.
Then, roasted beets and some super fresh fluke ceviche, one of my favorite dishes of the night.
Then, a delicious fusilli pasta with duck confit, green olives, pecorino, and chickpeas.
We also loved the confit octopus, a dish with eggplant and a sour cherry celery vinaigrette.
We couldn’t leave without dessert, of course! We tried the Banana Bread Pudding and the amazing Blackberry Preserve Beignets. I’m still dreaming about them.
