I always talk about how Boston Foodies has allowed me to do so many cool things that I never could have done otherwise, and one of those was judging a cookie contest at my friend’s church last weekend. I had a blast tasting over twenty different types of cookies and giving my input on my favorites.

The winners, and my top pick, were the incredible Pecan Pavlova Cookies with Cranberry Curd and Maple Pecans made by Sarah Gupton. She is an incredibly talented baker, who also made the Marzipan Teegebäck pictured above. I was shocked that she wasn't a professional baker!
