I had such a great time this weekend checking out Aceituna Grill, an incredibly delicious Mediterranean Restaurant in Kendall Square. It’s a perfect fast-casual dining spot with fresh and tasty salads and rice plates with sides like fattoush, tabbouleh, moussaka, and so much more. I can’t believe this was my first time trying this place — they’ve been open for over 10 years!
I loved their salad, which I topped with their spicy chicken shawarma and paired with a side of hummus and the most incredibly delicious melt-in-your-mouth cauliflower. My friend opted for the rice plate with chicken shawarma paired with a side of tabbouleh and moussaka. She loved it.
We ended with some Baklava and Osmalieh, which is a pastry made of ashta cream and topped with shredded filo and simple syrup — it was so delicious and not too sweet.
Aceituna Grill is opening an additional location in the Seaport District in Boston. It will be located in the PwC building and is expected to open within the next few weeks. I can’t wait to check it out!
