I had a great time this weekend checking out brunch at Waypoint! For those who don’t know, Waypoint is an awesome restaurant between Harvard Square and Central Square on Mass Ave in Cambridge featuring a creative menu of delicious seafood, house-made pasta, and so much more. Waypoint is the second venture of Chef Michael Scelfo of Alden & Harlow, which is one of my absolute favorite spots — in fact, one of the many reasons I miss living in Harvard Square is my proximity to A&H!
Anyway, I was super excited to check out Waypoint’s brunch. We started with oysters of course!
Then, their delicious Egg Salad Crostino and their Beet & Grapefruit Salad.
Then, Steak Tartare with poached eggs, a Sunchoke Tortilla with crab mayonnaise and trout roe, their Snails & Grits, and their incredibly delicious Bucatini Carbonara.
One of my favorites was their Smoked Whitefish Pizza. It’s made with mascarpone, dill, and capers on an everything bagel crust. How cool is that?!
We ended with something sweet, their delicious Raisin and Walnut Cinnamon Roll.
Check out Waypoint's full menu here. They serve brunch on Sundays from 10:00am to 2:30pm!
