I had an amazing time this week checking out The Hourly Oyster House, a restaurant that opened up this fall in Harvard Square featuring a great raw bar and creative seafood dishes. It's been on my list since it opened up and I was so glad I checked it out — I loved everything we tried!
We started with some oysters and their tuna poké. Both were delicious, and I loved the presentation of the poké. Also, we loved their salt and vinegar potato chips!
Then, one of their oyster specials — two oysters topped with a banana curry sorbet and another two topped with kielbasa bits. They were incredible.
We also tried and loved their fried clams, which were plated on a shishito-polenta cake with kimchi. Such a creative and delicious dish.
For our entrees, my friend ordered the scallops, and I went for the lobster roll. Both were excellent!
Then, for dessert, a perfect chocolate mousse, and an incredibly tasty green apple and raspberry crumble, topped with almond streusel and vanilla ice cream.
What an awesome dinner! Check out The Hourly Oyster House’s full menu here.
They’re located on 15 Dunster Street in Cambridge!
