I was back at one of my favorite brunch spots this weekend, Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant in Southie. I’ve been wanting to go back here for brunch after seeing so many mouth-watering instagrams of their Brunch Test Kitchen, a rotating brunch menu that they feature only on Fridays.
Anyway, we started our brunch with a few things — my favorite, the Lincoln Sliders, their delicious Baked Goat Cheese dip, some fruit, and their Smoked Salmon Toast. Everything was so delicious! Paired with OJ and some Down East Cider.
Then, I had to try their Fruity Pebble Pancakes. These are one of the dishes that debuted at Brunch Test Kitchen and was moved onto the regular menu because they were so popular. I have to admit — I got them for the picture, but they were super delicious — they were topped with this great cereal milk anglaise, which made them perfect.
We also tried and loved the Huevos Rancheros.
