This weekend I had a great dinner at Grill 23, an excellent steakhouse in Back Bay. Grill 23 is an awesome spot that has been open for decades and has an incredible reputation for serving great steak and seafood and offering an extensive selection of wines. They also have a beautiful and elegant space that I loved.
Anyway, my friend and I started our dinner with some wine and cocktails as well as some great appetizers — the burrata, which was a special for the night, and the salmon tartare.
For entrees, one of the best steaks I’ve ever had, the American Kobe Cap Steak. For my friend, the grilled Bronzino.
We paired these with some delicious sides, the asparagus and the lobster mac n’ cheese.
As if it couldn’t get any better, dessert was incredible. We went with the Hot Fudge Sundae and the Valrhona Chocolate Layer Cake. It was just as delicious as it was beautiful.
