I had an incredible dinner this week at UNI with my friend Regan of Venture Travelist. UNI is a great spot that I’ve loved for a while, and I’m always really excited when I get to go back!
We started our dinner with some cocktails — the Drunk in the Orchard, and the Magellan’s Demise.
For food, we kicked it off with the Smoked Uni Spoon, which comes with Petra caviar, a quail egg yolk, and yuzu.
Then, some more of UNI’s hot and cold plates including their Watermelon, Brussels sprouts, Japanese Milk Bread with honey nasturtium butter, dumplings, and a delicious scallop dish.
Then, onto some Nigiri and Sashimi, starting with a grilled chorizo and including some scallops and lean tuna.
For dessert, the Coconut Klondike for me, and the Cheesecake Espuma for Regan.
