I had an excellent dinner last week at Deuxave, a restaurant I’ve been wanting to visit for years!
For those who don’t know, Deuxave is an awesome spot in the Back Bay serving modern french cuisine including dishes like Duck Confit, Seared Foie Gras, a Pan Seared Scallop dish, a Prime Rib Eye, and so much more. They also have a great dessert menu — I couldn’t believe how incredibly delicious and beautiful the desserts were when I visited. They take a lot of care in making the presentation of the desserts just right.
Some of my favorites of the night included the Spiced Long Island Duck Breast, and the Crispy Skinned Giannone Chicken
All of the desserts blew me away. I especially loved the Crème Brûlée and the Avocado Lime Vacherin, which came with thai basil cream, candied hearts of palm, and meringue.
