For years I’ve been a big fan of Yasso, a local brand making delicious greek frozen yogurt bars and other frozen treats.
I tried their chocolate chip cookie dough frozen yogurt bars years ago and totally loved them. I began buying them and trying some of their other flavors — including their mint chocolate chip bars and their sea salt caramel bars. The great thing about them (in addition to the fact that they’re delicious), is that they only have 100 calories. They’re also high in protein and made with hormone free milk. I find them perfect for a light after dinner treat!
The other thing I love about Yasso is that they’re a local company, based out of Quincy and founded by two locals who have been friends since Kindergarten! I love supporting companies like this.
Lastly, Yasso will be touring the Boston area giving out samples of their frozen yogurt bars and new sandwiches this summer. This Friday, July 21st they’ll be parked at Rowes Wharf, right outside the Trillium Beer Garden on the Greenway from 10AM - 6PM. Matt Siegel from Matty in the Morning will be joining them to give our samples from Noon - 2PM!
Check it out or pick up some Yasso in your local grocery store. And you can follow Yasso on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook, and check out their website here.
