I had an awesome time this week taking over the Doretta Instagram page sharing some photos from my recent dinner there. I wanted to share the whole dinner here as well!
I’ve been a big fan of Doretta, a greek restaurant and raw bar in the Back Bay, since it opened, and I feel like every time I visit I leave with new favorite dishes.
When I visited most recently with my friend we started with some cocktails — the Pisco Sour and the Sophia Sunrise.
For starters, we went with with their zucchini chips and some hummus and pita.
Then, their watermelon salad, grilled octopus, pan roasted shrimp with kataifi and candied walnuts, and some lamb meatballs. We decided to go with a bunch of small plates, rather than go with any big entrees. I always love doing that because I get to try way more things.
For dessert, a few of their gelatos and their loukoumades (Greek donuts), and Galaktoboureko, which is a traditional Greek dessert made of crispy phyllo dough and a custard inside. It was great.
Check out Doretta’s full menu here. They’re located at 79 Park Plaza in Boston.
