I’m writing to share an announcement about an exciting upcoming event: Boston’s Holiday Food Fight to support No Kid Hungry. The event will be hosted at B3, an awesome restaurant in the Back Bay featuring Southern cuisine and music from Berklee College students. Two other Boston-area restaurants will be attending the event as well (stay-tuned for forthcoming announcement!), sampling holiday bites.
The event will be on Wednesday, November 15th from 5:30-7:30. Tickets are $25 and include unlimited holiday bites as well as two sponsored drinks. The best part of the event is that proceeds will go to Share our Strength’s No Kid Hungry campaign. The campaign is an effort to end childhood hunger by connecting kids in need with nutritious food and teaching their families how to cook healthy, affordable meals. Share our Strength is an incredible organization that I’ve been involved with for a few years now.
You can buy tickets to the event here. Use my code BOSFOODIES17 to be entered to win a gift card from one of the three participating restaurants.
Anyway, this weekend, I went in for dinner at B3 to get a little sneak peak of the type of delicious Southern cuisine and cocktails that we’ll be tasting at the event on November 15th.
We started with some cocktails — the Georgia on my Mind and the Gambler.
For food, we started with the Ham Biscuits, the Bourbon Fig Flatbread, and the Spice-Roasted Cauliflower.
Then, their Pulled Pork Slides and their Chicken & Buttermilk Biscuits.
I loved enjoying all of this while listening to the Berklee students perform. B3 hosts live music all week — you can check out their full schedule here.
