After having an intense discussion this weekend with a friend over what are the best pizza places in the Boston area, I wanted to round those up here and recap some of my favorite pizza spots. Here it goes:
Pinnochio’s | Harvard Square
I’m a huge fan of Sicilian-style pizza, and as a former resident of Harvard Square, Pinnochio’s was the spot. My dorm, for three years, was actually a two minute walk from here. Pictured here is a half buffalo chicken, half barbecue chicken pizza.
Leone’s | Somerville
Again, I told you I’m a huge fan of Sicilian-style pizza, and Leone’s is another great spot for it. Pictured here is a pepperoni pizza.
Posto | Somerville
Posto is one of my favorite spots for Neopolitan style pizza. Pictured here is their sausage pizza.
All Star Pizza Bar | Cambridge & Beacon Hill
All Star Pizza Bar is a super cool Inman Square spot with lots of creative topping combinations. Pictured here are some slices from a cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza, and a potato skin pizza.
Stoked | Brookline
Stoked Pizza in Brookline is an awesome pizza shop that started out as a food truck and expanded to a brick-and-mortar shop in 2016. Pictured here is their buffalo chicken pizza.
Ernesto’s | North End & Assembly Row
Ernesto’s Pizza is a great, super casual spot in the North End known for their huge slices. Pictured here is a slice of their pepperoni pizza.
Sal’s | Many locations
I had to put this on my list because on a normal week, I go to Sal’s for lunch at least once. Pictured here is half veggie, half chicken bacon ranch.
