    Dinner at Salty Pig

    December 11, 2017

I had a great dinner at the Salty Pig this weekend, a beloved spot in the Back Bay with great charcuterie, pasta, pizza, and more.

My friend and I started our dinner with some wine and a spread of their charcuterie and cheese. For charcuterie, I highly recommend their Prosciutto Cotto and the Pork Rillettes, both of which are made in house.

Then, we warmed up with some chicken noodle soup and tasted some of their delicious arancini.

For our mains, we went with a pasta and pizza. For pasta, the Fazzoletti, made with mushroom broth, cloumage cheese, and rye crumbs. We also got a side of Salty Pig's delicious fried Brussels sprouts.

For pizza, after much deliberation, we went with the Governatore, complete with sweet Italian sausage, peppers & onions, provolone, ricotta, and a red sauce. It was delicious!

Check out the Salty Pig’s full menu here. They’re located at 130 Dartmouth Street in Boston.
