I was so excited to grab some drinks and check out the new bar menu at Cafe ArtScience this weekend. I always love visiting Cafe ArtScience — I think it’s one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city.
For those who don’t know, Cafe ArtScience reopened in the summer after a brief hiatus, and they’ve made a lot of changes and brought in some incredible new beverage and culinary talent into the restaurant including Beverage Director and partner Tenzin Samdo and chef de cuisine Carolina Curtin. This was my first time visiting since the re-open, I had such a great time.
My friend and I started with some cocktails including the impressive Titi Monkey and the Pika, my two favorites!
The Titi Monkey is made with egg whites, matcha, Pisco, sandalwood, orange peel, lemon, and sugarcane. It’s topped with the most beautifully detailed monkey on top! And the Pika is a drink of ginger, compass box artist blend scotch, alpine herbs, clarified lemon, and honey and lychee foam. I could not get over how beautiful they were!
We also tried their steak tartare and got a taste of their new bar menu which is launching this week. It includes some delicious truffle butter popcorn topped with parmesan and mushroom dust, a bag of pickles, and a smoked trout mousse.
They’re also introducing a new charcuterie board, cheese board, some delicious beignets, and a “roe” of caviar.
Cafe ArtScience is located at 650 E Kendall Street in Cambridge. Check out their menus here.
