For Cinco de Mayo this year, I was so happy to celebrate with Cayman Jack at Tiki Rock, a cool new spot in Downtown Crossing serving delicious pan-Asian cuisine and fun tiki drinks. They partnered with Cayman Jack for a fun “Cinco de Cayman” celebration with a special Mexican Asian mashup dish!
For this #CincoDeCayman celebration, we enjoyed some Cayman Jack margaritas paired with chimichanga dumplings, the special creation that Tiki Rock Boston put together for the event that paired really nicely with the margarita! These delicious dumplings were made with fried wontons, rice, avocado, roasted chicken in Togarashi with a Sriracha sour cream sauce.
If you're not familiar with Cayman Jack, they’re premium prepared cocktails that come in the cutest little bottles and are made with 100 percent blue agave nectar from Mexico. They currently have two flavors — the ready-to-drink margarita and a Cuban mojito.
The margarita went perfectly with our chimichanga dumplings at Tiki Rock and also with some takeout tacos that I enjoyed a few weeks before the event.
