I had the best time last weekend checking out brunch at OAK Long Bar + Kitchen at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel. I’ve actually been dying to visit OAK — whenever I walk by and see how beautiful it is inside, I always want to check it out. I’ve been to the Fairmont Copley Plaza for a number of events over the years, but I haven’t visited OAK, so I was super excited to check out their brunch!
We started with some tea and cocktails, and then we had an epic brunch feast!
For sweets, we went with Monkey Bread, a donut (chocolate butternut when we visited!), and Blueberry Honey Pancakes. I seriously could not get over the Monkey Bread! It’s been way too long since I’ve had monkey bread, and this one was perfect — a little bit crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside.
For savory dishes, I loved the Hearth Baked Eggs, a dish of vadouvan tomato sauce, artichokes, kalamata olives, feta, cilantro, and eggs, paired with skillet bread.
We also loved their Chicken & Waffles and their beautiful Mushroom Flatbread, complete with porcini, truffle, ricotta, and upland cress.
