I had such a great time heading back to a spot I really love, Citrus & Salt! I visited them around when they opened in the winter last year, and I loved all of the food and cocktails, so I was so excited to go back again last week for some lunch. Their space in the Back Bay is seriously one of my favorite in the city.
My friend and I started with their Frozen Watermelon Rosé Margarita and their Blood Orange & Ginger Frozen Margarita. How cute are their cactus glasses?!
Then, we got some of their Chilaquiles, which I’ve been dreaming of since the last time I visited. They’re made with goat cheese quest, salsa de mojo, and crème fraiche.
Then, some Grilled Street Corn, which comes topped with flaming hot Cheeto crumbs, smoked mayonnaise, and cotija.
We also loved the Fish Tacos, the Tuna Ceviche, and the Pan Seared Sea Scallops. The scallops were so beautiful and one of my favorite dishes — they come topped with almond jam, gooseberry salsa, and candied chiles. They’re perfect in every way!
And we couldn’t leave without dessert! I love Citrus & Salt’s signature soft serve, which comes in a pretzel cone. And it’s also one of the only places I know in Boston where I can get Dole Whip — so we had to get both!
Check out Citrus & Salt at 142 Berkeley Street in Boston. They’re open for dinner every night and for lunch on weekdays from 11:30AM-2PM.
