When I visited with my friend, we started by relaxing and watching some of the performances when we first arrived. One of my favorites of the day was The Wild Reeds. I’ve been a fan of theirs since I first heard them on NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert a few years ago. It was so great to see them perform live.
After that, we hit some of the food trucks and tables. There were so many options! We decided to go with some fried chicken and dumplings from Moyzilla (which I will surely be hitting up again because their food was delicious!); tacos from Puritan & Company, one of my favorite restaurants, some tasty poutine from Hank’s Clam Shack, and frozen lemonades from Del’s Lemonade.
Afterwards, we did some exploring of the rest of the space — some shopping at the L.L. Bean truck, a game of corn hole, and a stop at the Pete and Gerry’s table, where we could meet some of the Pete and Gerry’s hens!
Then, some more music and shopping at a few of the local vendors before enjoying some sweet treats before we left — some ice cream from the Bart’s Ice Cream table and a popsicle from yommi, which they were serving out of the cutest little retro van!
It was an awesome day, and such a great, friendly crowd.
