I had an awesome dinner last week at The Backroom at Moody’s in Waltham. True to its name, it’s located behind the deli counter at the flagship Moody’s Deli location on Moody street, and guests enter in through the deli. The Backroom is such a cozy yet elegant restaurant, and my friend and I had a great meal — there’s nothing like unwinding with some great charcuterie and wine on a Friday night.
We started our dinner with some red wine and big plate of charcuterie and cheese and one of their flatbreads — the Broccoli & Burrata Flatbread made with tomato, Calabrese chili, and parsley.
I didn’t think it could get any better from there, but then I tried the Bacon & Eggs Bolognese, a dish that a friend who had visited recommended I try, and I couldn’t get enough of. And a side of my favorite veggie, Brussels sprouts!
To end the night, an apple crisp bread pudding, one of their specials that night! It was perfection.
